<p>Surgical Correction of Eyelid Shape [Lateral Canthopexy]<br />
The natural, almond-shaped contour of the eye is maintained by a small tendon that attaches the eyelid to the surrounding orbital bones of the eye [lateral canthal tendon].  Over time, this tendon becomes loose and the eye takes on a more rounded appearance. Dr. Zdinak can restore the youthful shape and function of the lower eyelid using a hidden suture technique as opposed to an eyelid cutting procedure.</p>
<p>CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing of the Eyelids<br />
Carbon dioxide [CO2] laser skin resurfacing uses laser energy to remove the superficial layer of the skin.  As the skin heals, collagen production is enhanced and the appearance of deep wrinkles and undereye circles is improved.
